Gates and More Fence Company is an owner-run fence and gate contractor based on the northeast side of Houston, near Lake Houston. Oscar Valdez runs the estimates and the crews, which means the person who walks your property line is the person accountable for what gets built on it.
The name is literal. Plenty of companies will put up a fence and then hand you a phone number when you ask about automating the driveway gate. We fabricate the gate, set the posts to carry it, install the operator, wire the safety sensors, and program the keypad, all in-house. One company, one number to call, one warranty.
We build for the ground we are actually on. Houston gumbo clay moves with the seasons, the humidity is hard on wood and untreated steel, and closer to the ship channel salt air attacks any bare edge. Post depth, fastener choice, and coatings all get specified with that in mind, which is why our fence lines are still straight when the cheap ones are waving.
Estimates are free, written, and itemized. We tear out and haul off the old fence, we clean up before we leave, and we work in English or Spanish, whichever is easier for you.
